Figure Skating cAMPS

Oka Figure Skating camps allow for more time on the ice, more intention behind the work, and more connection along the way. These focused experiences create space to refine technique, try new skills, and truly understand their skating, not just rush through it. Skaters train alongside teammates and friends who share the same passion for the sport, creating an environment that feels motivating, supportive, and energizing. Our camps are designed to challenge skaters while meeting them where they are — balancing high expectations with encouragement, laughter, and trust.

Purpose & Development Focused

Our team brings a wide range of experience across Learn to Skate and competitive figure skating, with a shared focus on athlete-centered coaching and long-term development.

Athlete-Centered

We believe how you teach matters just as much as what you teach. Our team creates environments where skaters feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and continue learning.

Lived Experience on the Ice

With firsthand experience as competitive skaters and program leaders across skills, dance, freestyle, and performance, we understand what each athlete needs to grow.

On-Ice Power & Projection Training
Drills and guided exercises designed to build speed, strength, and ice coverage that carry directly into jumps, step sequences, and overall skating impact.

Interpretation & Artistry (On & Off-Ice)

Skaters develop musicality, expression, and movement quality while learning how strong technique supports confident skating and authentic presence.

Freestyle Training Sessions

Select camps may include freestyle sessions where skaters focus on learning, refining, and practicing jumps and spins, with guided feedback to support technical development and confident execution.

Off-Ice Athletic Development, Training & Recovery

Structured warm-ups, strength and jump training, and recovery-focused sessions—such as yoga or stretching—designed to support safe training, mobility, balance, and long-term athletic health.

Classroom & Learning Sessions

Interactive sessions may cover skating theory, goal-setting, mindset, or guest presentations, giving skaters tools they can apply beyond camp.

OKA Skating Academy has the MOST friendly faces, encouraging atmosphere and I LOVE the focus OKA has on mastery in each level and the FUN they have... and the relationships they are building with one another and their coaches! You can literally FEEL the genuineness of the girls within this program. I have been involved in many other programs and there are almost NONE that match the level that OKA provides when it comes to the JOY these kids have when they are on the ice with eachother!

Light blue banner:

Figure skating is a uniquely beautiful sport. Not only does it require the strength and power of an explosive athlete, but also the artistry and grace of a true performer.

That balance is developed over time. Skills are earned through consistent work, discipline, and perseverance—through showing up, pushing through challenges, and learning from each step along the way. This process builds more than technical ability; it builds confidence, resilience, and a strong foundation that supports growth both on and off the ice.

At Oka, we believe in training with purpose, care, and intention—meeting skaters where they are while helping them move forward with confidence.

Let’s build that foundation together.

Ice Times

June ice times give skaters the chance to log 12+ hours of open ice across the month. Athletes typically receive 2–3 on-ice training sessions each week, with each session lasting about 20–30 minutes, depending on their level. Final schedules are confirmed once registrations are in, and June Ice will only be held if we meet the minimum number of skaters, so save your spot early!
