EXTENDED SEASON LESSONS

Outside of the Main Season, the journey continues. Hit the ice for 4-6 weeks of lessons to improve skating skills for the upcoming season. 

Extended Season runs from March to July

  • Spring Training: March - May
  • Summer Training: June - July
  • Pre-Season Training:  August - September

Continue working on your goals with extra ice time and focused training before the main season begins!

Athletes can train with the Oka Figure Skating coaching team for Spring, Summer, and Pre-Season training. These sessions focus on sharpening skating skills, building confidence, and staying ready for the main season. Build strength and step into your season feeling confident and prepared.

There is no doubt they are having an absolute blast out there. Also seeing how quickly my daughter has learned to skate and watching her confidence on the ice grow far past my expectations. It was by far the best experience I have had with any sports program I have put her in and looking forward to next year already.

Ice Times

Athletes typically receive one on-ice training session each week, with each session lasting about 20–30 minutes, depending on their level. Final schedules are confirmed once registrations are in, and pre-season Ice will only be held if we meet the minimum number of skaters, so save your spot early!

Minimum enrollment requirements vary by session and are listed on each individual event page. Sessions that do not meet minimum registration may be adjusted, combined, or canceled.

Skaters are strongly encouraged to hold a current U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) or Learn to Skate USA (LTS USA) membership, and are required to have current membership if testing or competing.

No refunds or credits are provided for missed sessions, group classes, or private lessons.

If sessions must be canceled due to circumstances beyond control—such as ice maintenance, facility issues, or inability to maintain ice conditions—refunds or credits will be issued for affected ice time.
